As a seasoned multimedia artist, Lourens' journey has encompassed a wide range of creative endeavors from lecturing and teaching to writing novels, scripts, blogs, articles, and website content. He has honed his skills in effective communication across various mediums. Additionally, his experience extends to music production, video production, video editing, webpage design, graphic design, course design, and technology design.

For approximately 25 years, Lourens had the privilege of teaching English to young learners in Asia, fostering their language skills and cultural understanding. While in Thailand, he served as the CEO of an edutainment company for 13 years where he further explored the interaction between education and entertainment.

Having recently returned to his birth country, Canada, Lourens came to an intriguing realization. The diverse experiences he had accumulated throughout his career have uniquely positioned him as a multimedia communications officer. This title encapsulates his ability to leverage various artistic and creative means to effectively convey messages, engage audiences, and create impactful content.

With his expertise in multimedia communication, he is thrilled to continue pursuing new and exciting opportunities, utilizing his skills and background to connect, inspire and captivate audiences across different platforms.

​On a personal and creative note, Lourens finds solace and inspiration in playing the guitar and keyboards. Songwriting is his passion, providing an escape and a means to nourish his soul. Above all, his unwavering love for God remains his anchor and source of peace. Additionally, he is incredibly grateful for his beloved wife, Thea, who has been the other love of his life for the past 39 years. She is a precious gift from Him, and their enduring marriage is a testament to the blessings they share.
