Growing up I had the nickname Loutjie [pronounced /low-key/], so when I did a web search, I was sure someone had already taken it as there were many other ‘Loutjies’ in the country I grew up in. I was surprised to find it was still available and I jumped at the chance of using it for my webpage..
As a seasoned multimedia artist, my journey has encompassed a wide range of creative endeavors. This includes lecturing and teaching to writing novels, scripts, blogs, articles, and website content.
Through these I have honed my skills in effective communication across various mediums. Additionally, my experience extends to music production, video production, video editing, webpage design, graphic design, course design, book and yes, even technology design.

Yes,I know you're thinking, as I was there myself before. The big question: 'will I have to pay for it?' For a long time, we were set on getting our thoughts and experiences out there in both book-form and course-form but the know-how evaded us. At the same time, the lack of motivation was playing havoc with our lives. Time was ticking, technology was getting more complicated and our dreams and ideas seemed to be shifting further and further away.
We searched the internet, joined groups, paid money and even though some of this helped, we came to a point where we sat down, looked at each other, the future, at what we wanted to do and said, the only way to succeed, is do it ourselves. We're both gifted and have enough determination to do it. So we thought. But still we did.
We put shoulder to the wheel and I valiantly, like David took on the technology giant, Goliath, determined to not so much cut his head off but to force him to be a good servant and work for me. At this stage he's still in my employment and reluctantly towing the line even though I wouldn't for a moment dare to turn my back on him.
As we designed our courses and wrote our books, we realized that this ship is constantly half submerged on a treacherous sea. We needed more hands on deck and we further realized that for people our age this is near impossible. Even Goliath with his head still intact was no match for all the storms and Tsunamis that came our way.
